Shawn Michaels told the Baltimore Sun in a phone interview that ran in today’s issue that he did return to WWE early because of the injury to John Cena. Michaels said that his wife noticed Cena’s injury on RAW and he received a text message from John the next day, confirming that he had a torn pectoral muscle. Michaels said it wasn’t long before WWE called to see how he was feeling. Michaels said that he has had some knee pain since returning but it isn’t anything too severe.
ECW World Champion CM Punk will be signing autographs at New York Sports Work in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa, NY this Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. ET.
