ECW Star CW Anderson announced his abrupt retirement today in a phone call conversation. He cited that he hasn't wrestled in two months, Anderson stated that he realized that it was time to move on and focus on family.
Anderson was best known for his run towards the end of the original ECW including a tremendous I quit match against Tommy Dreamer at the final ECW PPV "Guilty as Charged".
Anderson, who has been dealing with back issues stemming from injuries in 2005, also had a short run of the WWE version of ECW, but was never utilized.
