JBL's wife, financial analyst Meredith Whitney, caused a $369 Billion crash after she downgraded Citigroup's stock on Friday. She has been receiving death threats and hate mail since the incident.

JBL who was supposed to be in Texas at the weekend decided to stay with his wife. "I just don't want her to be alone this weekend. She tried to talk me into going, but if someone accosted her on the sidewalk or something, I don't know what I would do."
