Matt Hardy Injured - Update

As we reported yesterday, Matt Hardy sustained an injury at the SmackDown! tapings. Hardy took a 7-inch gash to the head that required 35 stitches to close. He was in a tag-team match, teaming with MVP, against Finlay and Rey Mysterio (an odd combination) in Kansas City.

Mysterio's knee brace caught Matt Hardy in the head. Hardy was bleeding heavily...in fact, the match had to be temporarily stopped so that officials could change the mat.

Hardy's status for Cyber Sunday is still unknown. As soon as we have an update, we will let you know.
